Born in Harvey, Illinois, and now residing in St. Louis, Mac Pryd like most rap artists grew up in the ghetto. He was able to find an outlet for himself through music and poetry. While the name Mac was given to him by his HIT SYNDICATE family, PRYD is an acronym that means Proud, Rebellious, Yen (strong desire) Determined. The acronym embodies who he is. His Inspirations are Tupac, Nas, Nelly, and Eminem. Pryd's goal is to make every track a single and to also become a muti-platinum selling artist.
